Some basic wisdom from my time with the desoldering tools:
#DO NOT USE THE SUCTION ALL THE TIME
#BE PATIENT. You need to wait for the solder to melt all the way through before sucking otherwise you'll be left with stuff to clean up
#Rocking back and forth slowly (~1hz) often works well for difficult spots
#The amount of heat you need is directly proportional to the amount of copper trace material surrounding the pin. You'll find that pin 15 gets stuck a lot as it is in a big fucking copper ground trace
#Solder braid is your friend. Its cheap, and if used right will make your desoldering effort a very clean one.
