The BBC and Ferrari F1 today confirmed that Michael Schumacher will be in the driver seat for Scuderia Ferrari. The news comes as a result of the injury sustained by Felipe Massa in round 3 of qualifying on saturday at the Hungaroring in Budapest, Hungary.

Much speculation has been flying of late as to who might replace Massa, many thinking that Ferrari might call up a younger driver from their F1 testing program, or even that the FIA might outlaw Schumacher for one reason or another. All of that speculation came to an end,  however, as Ferrari F1 team announced their choice earlier today in a press release.
